Welcome to my website!  I am a General Science teacher at Alcona Community Schools.  Go Tigers! This website consists of my resume, a little about myself, a "log" of my journey through MSU's Masters of Education program, and a place to showcase my students work.  This website is currently (and will probably be for quite some time) a work in progress. 

You can access Alcona Community Schools website by clicking here.  At the school website students can check their grades through Edline, sports schedules, menu options, the school schedule, clubs, and more!  Plus access to the Tiger Branch Banking!

I am currently teaching three courses of 9th grade science, Physical Science.  We have a block schedule at Alcona Schools.  Here is a look at a typical day:

8:00 am-9:24 am          Physical Science

9:30 am-10:53 am        Prep Period

10:58 am-11:33am       Seminar

11:33 am-12:08 pm      Lunch

12:13 pm- 1:36 pm       Physical Science

1:41 pm- 3:05 pm         Physical Science


Below is a look into my classroom.  I have a HUGE room.  The front half is the "classroom" with desks, blackboards, and a projector.  The back half are the labs, where we have seven lab stations set up, each can have up to four lab groups working at each station.
